🔸Please note - deadstock, salvaged and second hand fabrics are hard to trace to their source, so it’s not always possible to know how these fabrics were produced or what the fabric content is. I always try my best to identify the fibres through burn test. The composition, unless stated, is approximate.

  • What's Deadstock Fabric?

Deadstock fabric refers to fabric that has been produced but never used or sold. It often comes from overstock from fashion designers or brands.

The main benefit of using deadstock fabric is that it allows us to use pre-existing material which is otherwise destined to landfill.

  • Second Hand First, Always

For certain elements of the products like threads, zips and other hardware it's not always possible to rely on second hand and deadstock supply.

Before buying new all other secondhand and deadstock avenues are scoured.

  • As Zero Waste as Possible

Whilst it's almost impossible to create no waste whatsoever as a business (and as a human) I'm very intentional in the way I manage the materials I use; when cutting fabric I make sure to optimise the layout to minimise the amount of scraps which then gets separated by colour and fibre to be reused and repurposed to create new products.
Essentially, everything here gets saved and reused later, even loose threads!
